Hallux rigidus

Stiff, enlarged and painful big toe joints are very common and can lead to very debilitating pain and severe restriction in shoe wear choice. This can often lead to a premature end to sporting activities or even simple walking is eventually affected.
Hammertoes
A hammertoe is a very common condition where the toes become retracted or clawed. The toes appear bent and often produce a forefoot that is wider and deeper. The hammertoe will often then rub on shoes leading to painful friction and corn formation.
Morton’s Neuroma
A neuroma, sometimes known as Morton’s neuroma is a fibrous thickening of a nerve in the front of the foot. The correct title for a neuroma is a perineural fibrosis. Neuromas can be found in between any of the long bones of the forefoot (metatarsals) yet commonly occur between the 3rd and 4th metatarsals. They occur due to friction or compression on the effected nerve perhaps from tight shoes or flat feet.
